Contemporary Resort

[First time disney]

This will be our first time staying at this resort. We are staying at BayLake Tower, lake view. We have a standard room. Anyone stayed here before. What are in the rooms. I thought I read that there was a toaster in the room. I'll be fixing breakfast for my 9 yr old son (cereal or toast) and wanted to know what was in the rooms. Thanks for all the info you can give me.

Yes, there are toasters in the rooms at Bay Lake Tower. There are also microwaves.

We just stayed at BLT in a lake view studio this past January. You (and especially your DS) are going to love being able to walk to MK - we ended up in MK at least once a day, even if it was just to pick up more Sorcerer's cards.

We frequented Contempo Cafe for a quick, light breakfast. They have the usual bakery breakfast treats and full QS breakfast choices as well. In case you want to do something outside your room. Enjoy!

Hope you had park hopper or only visited MK for your entire vacation. I wish BLT was not confused with CR. Not sure what poll is asking. Sister was in BLT lake view. Visited her room. It was very nice. She and her family (6 total) loved it. Walk to MK is definitely main advantage. Proximity to CR and monorail/concourse/CG/CR Boat Dock/and Chef Mickey's definite pluses. My crew finds Contempo Café great for quick minimal breakfast.
