Contemporary Resort questions...

:xmas:Santa delivered a little pixie dust early & said I could upgrade to Tower/MK view rooms for a quick WDW getaway in January. Question, though...do all the Tower/MK view rooms have balconies? And do you have a good view of the MK fireworks from all the MK view rooms at the Contemporary? Thanks!

This past Feb. when I made our reservation I asked the disney rep to put a note on there requesting a room on the highest floor possible. Well we ended up on the 11th floor and the views were amazing! I would suggest calling and requesting a higher floor room, it never hurts to ask and you might be really happy like we were.

thanks for the info everyone. I am so excited about the chance to stay at the Contemporary. Only there for 2 days, so being in the tower/MK will definitely maximise our time (short hours on parks, too.) I was worried we'd barely have time to eat, get back to CR & then have to hike over to MK Main street to watch (I know it's only 10 minutes or so, but we might have been pushing the schedule to do it & find a viewing spot by 8:00)...this way, we can just take the monorail back to CR, grab a beverage & watch from our room balcony.

Just stayed on the 7th floor/MK view in November. Awesome view of Holiday Wishes. Also, think about the California Grill-kind of expensive, but you won't be disappointed.
