I was really disappointed when viewing this thread at another site to see that the renovations of the rooms on the 14th Floor were so half-assed. It looks like all they did were the TV's, the Curtains, The Headboards and sheets and the Computer - nothing else. You can even see from the outside of the hotel that they haven't been renovated (the salmon gives it away)!
Please tell me that these renovations were temporary to tide them over untill they go back and do it properly. If not, that means that the rooms will have been the same for over a decade with no major switchout - and it shows!
I'm also guessing the lounge hasn't been touched. (AND the North Concourse is completly bare after the tear out - what happened to the purple trees!)
