Conservation Station Little Mermaid Show GONE

The construction work at the AK:Conservation Station is almost complete and the Little Mermaid puppet show is history. Instead they've replaced the back wall with a glass wall to expose the exhibits that were hidden behind the wall and the puppet show. Seems like a waste to me, lose a puppet show simply for the sake of better exposure? If they were going to replace the wall, why not add some more glass displays instead of a solid wall (and a lot of empty space)???

Um, can someone please explain this Little Mermaid puppet show? I've never heard of it. Unless you are reffering to the show at MGM, but a show at the conservation station? Could someone fill me in on this.

I have never heard of the Little Mermaid puppet show, either. Just the one at MGM, & I LOVE that show! lol.. What a relief to hear the one at MGM isn't gone.. :)

If I correctly remember, its not THE Little Mermaid (Ariel). Its a puppet show of a little girl mermaid.

Someone back me up here...

Yes. It just looks kind of...sort of....like Ariel. In a weird way.

I got your back on this one. It was a very small show with a very small puppet - about the size of a barbie doll.

I really liked that show of Little Mermaid in MGM-studios.. Like in the summer, it's really nice to be inside in a cool place, and i also like the effects of spraying water in the show.. i think.
But anyways, if they got rid of that, i'm against it. But too bad, it already happened...:(

We are talking about the very small mermaid presentation at Animal Kingdom's Conservation Station, not the MGM Little Mermaid show - it's still there.

I had to actually think hard & realize there was this show at Conservation Station.

Believe me, nobody is going to miss it. Yeah the little kiddies may have enjoyed it for 2 seconds, but it was pointless overall. Nothing horrible, but nothing to get all worked up over either.
