I'm hoping this is not as hard as I am making it. But I'm not sure what to do.

Here is the problem: My family booked 2 bounceback rooms for this fall. However some of us can go for a longer stay than others. Right now it looks like this---

Night #1 2 adults arrive
Night #3 3 adults and 1 child arrive

Do I start out with both rooms and list everyone on the reservations from night #1 and on? I can't just add them as they arrive with MP+. I won't be able to pick times for them. Or can I? Or do the 2 of us who arrive a couple days early just share a room for those first 2 nights? I know that means we can't get the bounceback for those nights, no way to do a split-stay with a bounceback. Or am I wrong?

Can you see why I'm confused??:banghead::banghead::banghead: Please help!!!!

The 2 of you who arrive two nights early- are you planning to room together the entire time? In that case, why not just have your resort reservation start on day 1, and the other on day 3.

If you'll be in separate rooms once the remainder of your party arrives, you have two options:

a) You can book a separate room for the two of you for the first two nights, and check in to the new rooms once everyone else arrives. If your tickets (and dining) are linked to the package booked with the bounceback offer, you won't have access to them until you check in on day 3. Depending on your dates, there may be a public room discount available for those 2 nights.

b) Or you can simply have both rooms starting on night 1, with everyone else arriving on night 3. If you have a package with tickets and/or dining, you will all have the same ticket and dining options. You should book everyone tickets for the number of days the rest of your party needs, and then upgrade yours and the other adult's arriving early once you get there.

If you're all linked together on My Disney Experience, you can make their Fastpass+ choices in your account, regardless when they check in.

Hope that helps!

The two of us who are arriving first will be staying in separate rooms once everyone else shows up.

I'm leaning towards having us both in one room for the first two nights. Another wrinkle is that we have friends who want to go too, so we will need 2 rooms for the first 2 nights, then 1 regular room and 2 bounceback rooms for the rest of the time. Plus we want both the bounceback rooms to be connecting. The third room can just be near us. Boy I hope the CM who helps us check in has a lot of patience!!!

Whew! haha. At least your friends won't need to change rooms; they can simply book their room from the night you arrive to the night you all leave.
