Concourse Steakhouse vs Narcoossee's

Ok friends, I have a small problem. Which is better Concourse Steakhouse or Narcoossee's? We have a trip planned in December. I would love to go to both of these, but I don't know if it's going to happen. I would love to go to Narcoossee's for the excuse of seeing GF all decked out for Christmas. But, I would love to also check out the Contemporary, but just to scratch the itch more than anything. What's your take on these restaurants? Thanks. Mickey

I have not been to Narcoosee's but the Concourse Steakhouse has awesome filet mignon and is cheaper than Narcoosee's. I would go to the Contemporary for dinner and then take the monorail over to the Grand Floridian to see the Christmas decorations.

Meega, nala kwishta!
We did Narcoossee's last year, never did Concourse Steakhouse though.

Narcoossee's was great. The food and service was top notch. I know it was expensive, but we used our wishes so it was free for us.

The view of MK (and the Castle) was great. It was made even better when the fireworks began. Great place to eat. :slurp:

My wife and I ate at the Concourse Steak House in May and must have hit it on an off night. The food was overcooked and our server was having a bad night as well. I'm willing to guess that is not the norm. It was probably the only (much) less than stellar eating experience we had all week.

Two odd things about the Concourse Steak House: first, it is next to Chef Mickey, so you can hear the various shows as they happen. Kids eating at the Concourse would go stand next to a bussing station (near our table) to watch. So, it is not a place for kids who would rather eat next door.

And the bathrooms are outside the restaurant, around the corner and past the elevators. Kind of a long walk to wash your hands. This was surprising because I think they are also the bathrooms for Chef Mickey. I'd hate to make that long walk with a child who might not be interested in waiting much longer.
