Concierge Question

I have a question about concierge level. We are staying in a concierge room at the YC in Oct. I think I might be going nuts :hammer:, but I think I read somewhere that they call you a couple weeks ahead atime to go over any ps, recreation plans, or anything else that may be of inportance during your stay. Is this true or is my imagination running wild. I can't even remember where I think I read this. I know if you stay under the Dream Maker Platinum Plan this is true.
Also, can the concierge people really get you those really hard ps? Has any one here done concierge? Thanx to all who can help !

We have stayed Conc. twice at the Cont. club. Both times we were able to make our ps arrangements through them instead of wdw dine. First time we recieved a phone call and the second we recieved a question sheet to fill out and mail back. This time we are staying at the GF Conc. on the gold plan. I recieved a letter at about 100 days prior to our arrival, it said to call them to make all our arrangements. So I do not think it is only the platinium plan.

all concierge guest are entitled to itinerary planning services.

Yes, call them right away and give them the places, times and days you want to make PS for. If they are outside of the 90 or 60 day reservation times, they will schedule to make the call and book it on the earliest day they can book them.

We've been using them for 3 years now at AKL, and they are great. Most times they can get things that we have trouble getting. And I've only had one thing they were unable to get (a boat cruise) that keeps getting sold out before they can book it.

Use them, that's one of the reasons you're paying more for concierge.

Make sure you stay in Sugarloaf and have Will work with you on concierge. He is the best there and I can't say enough positive things about him. he is excellent, loves his job and makes sure that children on the vacation have fun too. He deffinitely goes above and beyond what is expected of a CM at WDW, he is also living proof of what Walt wanted of his CMs. He's the best, period! Let us know how your experience is when you get back too!
