As a second honeymoon, I want to surprise my husband with a concierge room at the disneyland hotel. what ammenities come along with it? the www.disneyland.com site says .....

Priority check-in
Staff available prior to and during your visit for reservations and vacation planning
Enjoy an exclusive lounge featuring Continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese reception
Nightly turndown service
DVD players and complimentary movies

what about snacks during the day? (my husband is a dietcokeaholic)? is there anything else offered that isn't listed?

Thanks for the info!

There is a concierge room at the top of the tower where they have snacks, water bottles and other drink during the day. That is where the desk is to get the DVDs. We did the conciege in 2003 and it was really nice. The room can get really crowded in the mornings. We loved getting the Disney chocolate coins everyday. It was great service. I would love to do concierge again.

Perfect! That is exactly what I was looking for. We are not big breakfast people, so the orange juice, coffee, and donuts are perfect for us to start a morning. and since my husband is addicted to diet coke, the refreshments during the day will be well used. This will be our first trip to disneyland (though I have been to WDW nearly 20 times!), and it is going to be a second honeymoon/my 25th birthday celebration. we are looking to put just a bit more disney magic into the vacation, I thought that this would be perfect.

Thanks!

You're gonna LOVE IT! :sohappy:

What a great way to make the trip even MORE special!

DisneyLand ROCKS! and you can easily make it back to your room a lot quicker than you can at WDW!

Have fun...and be sure to plan on seeing Fantasmic and Remember at least twice during your trip!

My husband and I stayed at the Grand Californian concierge level in January. Granted, that's not the DL hotel, but since they'e both owned by Disney, I'd suspect that they they have thing set up are very similar.

Anyway, the Concierge room was available from early morning until around 11pm. Soda, bottled water, coffee and tea were available all the time that the Concierge was open. They had the light breakfast buffet from way-earlier-than-we-were-awake-but-figure 6-or-7am until 10am (food included bagels, bread/toast, danish, scones, pound cake, boxed cereal, fruit, yogurt, OJ, container milk). Light lunch/snacks from approx. 11am til approx 4pm (macaroons, cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, etc). Wine and cheese/crackers was available later in the evening.

We thought the service of the Concierge was WONDERFUL. Our only complaint about it for the 5 nights we were there was that the foods were VERY similar from day to day...orange scones one day, citrus scones the next. Since we took full advantage of many of the light meals and snacks every day, we would have liked a little more variety each day...but your mileage may vary (grin).

I am thinking that we would take advantage of the breakfast every morning, and probably the wine and cheese at night. Usually, on our trips to WDW, we do one big ol' meal a day, and then snack the rest of the time. This sounds like it would work quite nicely for us!
