Hi,

I hope I don't get this the wrong way, but since we haven't heard from the Muppets since their last tv show from Disney+, I'm starting to feel like this might be the end of the Muppets. I feel like Disney doesn't want anything to do with the Muppets after the failed movie Muppets Most Wanted and the failed tv show of The Muppets.I thought Muppets Haunted Mansion was a hit, but I guess I'm wrong. I also feel that maybe Disney should give up the Muppets and give them to another company. I don't mean to be a negative nancy, but I'm just concern about the future of The Muppets, because I'm afraid they might be going away and never come back. Is this the end of the Muppets?😢

i think maybe we’ll see a new special on disney+ on occasion. maybe a straight to steaming movie. i think they’ll still have a presence in the parks as far as merchandise. if muppet vision does go away someday, i hope to see a muppet animatronic ride, or maybe a muppets land if they can pull it off. but i dont think they’ll totally abandon the muppets.

Thank you. I just hope DIsney didn't give up on the Muppets.

I don't think they will. Frank Oz has never been shy to be critical of Disney. Hell, he has been very vocally against them for a long time. However, he did say recently that he felt The Muppets were in good hands and Disney was doing a good job with them at the moment, so that to me suggests he knows something we don't.

He was supposed to work on mayhem but had scheduling issues so he couldn't. Also he has said he would help with the Muppets but Disney has never reached out to him. In my opinion if Disney actually cared about the Muppets outside of Kermit and Piggy Cameos on tv specials, they would have reached out to him a long time ago. So I don't think it's Frank that's the issue, it seems like it's Disney.

Of course Frank isn’t the issue, I just meant that if someone so critical of Disney said something nice about what they’re doing with the characters that to me says they’re not dead.
