I saw that and just assumed it was interactive elements in the Mermaid queue - it would be interesting if this was related to the Scavenger Hunt. Here's hoping there are more hidden gems in this expansion.

very excited for this.:D

another "hidden gem" that is being underplayed is the bell meet and greet, you are supposed to spend almost 30 min with her reenacting the story of BatB, you will be transported from bells cottage to beast castle, (in an extremely spectacular and magical way, so ive been told) and thats not the best part, some of the enchanted furniture will come to life in forms of AAs :sohappy:
it will almost be like an interactive walk through dark ride

I'll believe that when I see it.
A thirty-minute M&G/walkthrough would be a capacity nightmare.

Agreed. But Lee, I thought this Belle interactive experience was tossed out when they decided to cancel the Pixie Hollow area in favor of the Snow White/Mine Train ride?

Set me straight if I'm mixing up my already poorly-remembered facts.

The Cinderella and Aurora(Sleeping Beauty) M&G's were removed and replaced with the Mine Train.
The Belle M&G is still happening, and is well along in its construction. (It's the massive building between the Be Our Guest restaurant and Village Haus, plus her father's cottage out front.

As for the Scavenger Hunt thing, I see that people in the concept art are all holding maps. My guess would be that the maps are given out upon entry, similar to the maps you get at the walking trails in AK, but these have an RFID chip embedded in them so that the system can track individuals as they move through the Hunt.

I read this as the scavenger hunt will be in the queue line or queue area that leads to the Ariel meet and greet location, not the ride.

If they split it up into 2 or 3 rooms though, couldn't they have multiple Belle's that just stay with their groups and they could cycle through? I doubt that's how they are doing it but I was just curious if it was an option...

I mean, uh, there's only ONE Belle... :lookaroun Sorry for the spoiler everyone!

That is how I imagined it as well, and how I justified the absolute massive size of the showbuilding for this M&G. I'm excited for it as well, my 2 girls are going to love it.

Thank you. :)

I've been wondering about that myself. People keep talking about it, and it SOUNDS very cool (heck, I don't do M&G and I'd still go). But...it just sounds like the Wand Shop at WWHP gone mad.

There is just no way to make it happen in the ways some people are talking about - even with Disney "magic", unless they have two Belles, one that "performs" and then when you go around the corner (next room, whatever) there she is in her dress ready to M&G.

Some are making it sound like an intimate "adventure"/experience with Belle (Belle's Storybook thing and a M&G in one), and I think it's going to be a little more simplified than that.

In any case, I'm sure the theming will be awesome. That's one reason I welcome these M&G's with open arms - yeah, all people talk about is AK and it's theming, which is great and all - but I want to see DISNEY stuff well-themed. And this is finally it.

Agreed. This has some huge potential.
