Certain words on web pages are being underlined, and if i click on them they redirect me to other links. Kid of like built in advertisements. Does anyone know how to get rid of them??

They are everywhere and they are driving me nuts!!!

If anyone can help me...please post it here.

I just thought of something..

Did you accidently install a program that (without your knowing) added the word functionality to your web browser?

I don't think so...but how can I find out?

I think I may call the PC Company and let them tell me what to do.

The computer people didn't help...anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I don't know but .. my computer has been doing funky stuff too. Like even when I go to websites that don't HAVE ads ... ads pop up. It's driving me INSANE...

I heard about a new browser in association with Netscape that has a feature that lets you turn off Ads... does anyone know about this and is it worth trying?

Woo Hoo!!!

I fixed it...somehow I must have accidentaly Downloaded a program that did this. Just so everyone knows, DO NOT D/L Top Text. That was that it was, and it was so annoying.

Well i've been having pop-ups start when i come to this site....odd....I think that alligator program may have found its way back in....i forget it's name

Check your system for Top Text though...that is the worst...and if you have it delete it.
