Compare: Old Key West Vs. Beach Club Villas

I can't decide where to stay. I have stayed at the Old Key West before but never at the new Beach Club Villas.

Which hotel is nicer?
Are the rooms bigger at one?
Which hotel has the better features?

Please just post any comments and suggestions you have.

Thanks,
Josh

Anyone have this info? I mainly want to know the room quality compared to Old Key West? And also the room size compared to Old Key West? I usually stay in the room with the one bedroom, not the studio, it's the one above that one, but not one of the huge ones.

The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World is your best resource. Most bookstores have it.

Old Key West is more laid back, less @nal, much more of a true home away from home. Larger, nicer grounds overall and much bigger rooms with parking at the door. It's also much less expensive and uses less DVC points.

Beach Club Villas are fancier, much smaller, have great walking access to Epcot and all the fun stuff on the Boardwalk, an incredible pool with an incredible slide (slide closed now til april 4), boat access to MGM. And they are much more expensive and use more DVC points.

Overall I prefer OKW because fewer people walk around with their noses up in the air. but for kids and fun Beach Villas has more you can do without driving anywhere.
