Coming to POR in Nov 2006 - Need tips

Grand gathering to POR in November of 2006. What can we expect the weather to be like? Crowds?

Have heard a lot about transporation to other resorts not being fast enough. Can anyone share some tips in making reservations and actually getting to meals on time?

Husband and brother both celebrating 40th birthdays within a week of arrival, anyone have tips to make their WDW experience brighter? Thanks.

As far as weather goes, November is not the easiest month to predict. Might be mild, might be warm for November, might be cold.

I personally would use Disney transportation. We take a car to WDW most of the time but still end up using Disney Transport. The wait for the bus is usually cancelled out by the wait and ride for the parking lot tram. You might use your car for DTD if you rent one. I stayed at POR last trip, and the transportation was great.

Let the guys choose their birthday dinner or day events (go to their favorite parks, eat at a $$ or $$$ restaurant).
