Coming Soon on Disney DVD

I know that 101 Dalmations 2, Dumbo 2, Piglet's Big Movie, Lion King, Roger Rabbit: Vista Series, and Treasure Planet are coming out next year, does anyone have a more complete list or know where to get one for DVD's to be released next year from Disney (mainly cartoon movies). Thanks.

Am I crazy, or wasn't there a Dumbo 2 coming to DVD a while back. What happened to it? I remember seeing a preview and everything.

Thanks for the list, it was missing Treasure Planet in April, but it had a lot of others I was interested in knowing about.

I really hope Dumbo II is not cancelled.

There are still a lot of Major Disney titles not mentioned yet for release time frame... like Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Aladdin, Cinderella and a few others. I'm so close to a complete set, yet still so far away because of the slowed release times of the final Animated Classics.

That's because the ten films slated to be part of the Platinum Edition series are being released one-a-year over ten years. You'll have to wait until the end of the cycle to get 'em all. Lion King is this year (year 3). That leaves 7 more years until they're all out. Then they start over with Snow White again.

Right, I understand that, and assume they will each go IMAX as well. But does anyone know the order of release for those 7 that are left?

IMAX is a big question mark, depending on how well Lion King's receipts are. B&B did not do as well as expected last year, which is why they pushed up the big gun of TLK this year. Aladdin was supposed to be this year but was pushed back. No word on whether it will be next year's title or if they will proceed with the originally planned Sleeping Beauty.

Hi again spider-man! No, the list I gave you is not missing Treasure Planet or any other Disney movie. Go back to the link I posted and click on "Animated Classics" at the top of the screen and you'll see Treasure Planet and all the others! :wave:

Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas should be great, and Gargoyles on DVD is just awesome. But the other "II"s, including, Bambi and Lilo and Stitch are scary, specially since there'll be Stitch the movie. Tarzan 2 should be ok, I like the animated series. Oh, and George of the Jungle 2?
