Comic/Anime Conventions

So I was filming some architecture in downtown Tampa this weekend and ended up walking into MetroCon, Florida's largest anime convention. Now, I have never been to one of these things before so I might as well have stepped onto the planet Mars. It was like halloween times ten. Crazy cosplayers were dressed to the nines in super hero, anime, and video games costumes. It was really fun to just hang out and watch all these characters interact with each other. I hope to return next year with costume in hand.

I have a number of friends who attend Metrocon. ^__^

As an aside, I've noticed there are a handful of con-goers and cosplayers lurking on these forums, myself included. Anyone else?
