college program/credits and classes

when doing the wdwcp, do you have to take classes down there? does the wdwcp give credits? What else should I know? If me and a friend were to sign up and both get accepted, could we request each other as roommates?

It depends on your school if you need to take classes. Your school may require you to take 1 or 2 classes to stay a full time student or like my school, not even give any credit for anything. The your school determins the credit per class, but there is a recommendation from ACE as to what they should be worth.

If you and your friend are accepted and decide to go, make sure you choose the same arrival and departure dates if you want to room together. Then check in at the same time and ask to be put together.

No, you don't have to take classes when you there, but some colleges required that you take classes to stay full-time. As for credit it all depends on your college, a lol of people didn't get any, mine gave 3 business credits without taking classes, and I actually knew someone who was getting 15! But she's the only person I knew getting so many. So just check with your college advisor or whoever you need to at your college.

And as schroder6452 said, if you choose the same arrival date, and then check in at the same time, your more likely to get a room with your friend.
