Hi,

My names Dean, and I'm DETERMINED to work at Disney World. I'm 20, live in Sydney Australia and work as a Ride Op at a small amusement park.

I was considering the Intl College Program, but I'm not studying. I rang up the recruitment line last night and had a chat. She basically told me that I have to be studying to do the College program, which recruits from Australia at the end of this year. However, she said they may do International recruit later on from Australia, and gave me an Email address to send a resume to.

So, what are they looking for in the resume, and whats the chances of getting recruited? If I could afford to go over there on my two feet; I would.

Disney always looks for dedication, consistency, and reliability. They also look for flexability and the ability to work in any environment. If you were a previous Ride Op, that gives you experience and keeps you a step ahead of the game.

I was a CP last year and I'm going to be one again very very soon hopefully... (My interview is over the phone and tomorrow at 1).

I hope this info helped you!

Heh, Whats A Single Class?

EDIT:

So I rang up again, with a different approach. I was told I would need to obtain my visa, and fly to WDW for an interview. :|

The info you got would be for regular employment.

A single class.... err,, a single course perhaps? like taking 1 subject.

What MKT is saying is just go sign up for one class of something that interests you (psychology, math, biology, etc) and then you'd technically be studying!

If you want to be housed by Disney, and I'm assuming you do, you need to be part of the college program or international program. They don't house regular CMs unfortunately. :(
