Cast Members and guests can hear some of country music's rising stars at the taping of Colgate's 21st Country Showdown, hosted by country artist Billy Ray Cyrus, on Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. at the America Gardens Theatre at Epcot.
The show will feature performances by six regional winners who will compete for a $100,000 grand prize and the title of "Best New Act in Country Music." The show will air in the spring.
Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested Cast Members or guests must call (407) 566-5569 to reserve a spot, and callers must provide their name, the number of people in their party and a phone number where they can be reached. Cast Members may bring the number of guests allowed on their Main Gate or Silver passes. Entrance into Epcot for the taping won't count against these pass.
Registered audience members should arrive no later than 5 p.m. at the Epcot front entrance. The taping will conclude shortly after "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth."
