Coke Freestyle Cups

I know this is a dumb question, but do the Coke Freestyle machines dispense plain old Dasani? And if you purchase the refill cup for $12.99 any additional day is $9.99- does it have to be consecutive or within your trip?

I am not sure about the ones at Universal, but every one I have seen outside of there has Dasani as an option.

I wonder if I can use my cup from last year or do I have to get a new one? cause those machines rock. Thirsty, no problem. there was even a machine outside there in Lost Continent area that is easy to get too

The water is just plain filtered tap water. The Dasani is the flavored and carbonated/flavored options. Which should tell you something about bottled Dasani.

I believe the way the Uni system works is when the cup is first used, it starts the clock on one day's useage. This is similar to the Disney rapid refill system for the paper cups (where they don't have to be activated at purchase on the encoder, they're just activated on first use). As such, the only way you can reuse a previous FS cup is if they have an encoder to reset that particular cup. Don't recall seeing one by the registers at Monsters Cafe, but that doesn't mean they didn't have one behind the counter somewhere.

Pretty sure you get Dasani as just plain still water too. Maybe not in the freestyle machines but certainly bottled.

I can't stand it either, paying money for tap water. How Coke have managed to get away with selling bottled tap water I have no idea.......If you have ever seen the old BBC series 'Only Fools and Horses' there is classic about them trying to flog bottled tap water to the public called 'Peckham Spring Water'
