Recently I was at Gasparilla Grille @ Grand Flo, and tried to use the Coca-Cola Freestyle app to do a custom mixed drink, but couldn't get either of the machines to present the QR code on-screen to be scanned by the app. It seems that maybe these machines have disabled this feature. Is this property wide, or has anyone else tried it?
I did notice a small QR code on the machine located to the right of and below the screen, but the app didn't recognize it.
For those not in the know, you can download the Freestyle app to your mobile device, then create your own custom mixes of drinks and flavors. Then, you're supposed to be able to walk up to the machine, scan the QR code (shown on the screen) using the app, and then your drink mix is fed/communicated with the machine and poured.
