CM Badges...

I was just wondering, Why do Cast Members now have things associated with Disney on there Badges instead of where they are from?

The things now under castmembers badges are their Magical Memories of Disney. (hense mine were Disneyland, Dumbo, Beauty and the Beast and the Mickey Mouse Club hehe).

I have actually heard many guests complain about this and how they liked the old badges better because it was interesting to see if they were from the same area.

I think the old ones will be back after the celebration.

I asked a cast member and they said they would be returning to the old ones after the celebration. I like knowing where the people are from.

It was nice for this year, but I agree that I like knowing where Cast Members are from too, and am glad that it's just for this year. Any word as to whether the Magical Moments pins will still work after this year or should I just leave the pin at home when I come next year? I would assume they wouldn't just throw out the sensors on the rides...except on the Tower of Terror. When my pin went off during the star sequence...everyone complained b/c it lit up the walls in the hallway and kinda ruined the effect...people were like "TURN IT OFF!!" like it was my fault...everywhere else was kewl, though.
