I got engaged to the greatest woman in the world this past December. We are both huge Disney lovers. We just went on a trip the 2 of us, and our best friends/my 2 roommates.
My good friend (who's actually gonna be a groomsman in my wedding) is a cm and we used his cast discount for the room. When we checked in, he had told them at the check-in counter that we were engaged and they gave us the buttons.
Well we wore them religiously! One night we met up with another friend of mine in epcot, then we decided we'd have a few drinks at rix lounge. So my fiancee and my 1 roommate went with my friend from epcot to cs, and my other roommate and I rode over in our rental. The roommate that came with me, John, ran off to the restroom as soon as we got there.
And the bartender came over and started chatting with me despite the fact that the place was decently crowded. And she was so gushy over the just engaged button. Well eventually my friend showed up with my fiancee and once we were all seated, we'd noticed we hadn't seen the bartender in a while.
She comes back with balloons with hearts on them, 2 glasses of champagne, and a signed card from Mickie and Minnie congratulating us!!!
It was such a little thing that took her 10 minutes to do and something Victoria and I will remember the rest of our lives. I wish I could remember the cast member's name but can't to save my life.
