Club for Disney Fans Offers Opportunity To Meet Animation and Theme Park Legends (NFFC)
7/5/2005 10:06 AM EST
The National Fantasy Fan Club (NFFC) - the Club for Disneyana Enthusiasts creates the opportunity to meet with fellow Disney fans from around the world and celebrate their passion for all things Disney. Whether its at the National Convention, a local area chapter meeting or in the pages of the membership newsletter, the FantasyLine Express, Club members have the opportunity to interact with the people who create the magical characters and places that they love.
As part of our Club mission to preserve the legacy of Walt Disney we established the NFFC Disney Legend Award. Each year the NFFC honors individuals whose careers have contributed to the magic and the wonder of Walt Disney's Dream. At the Summer 2005 Convention's Luncheon with the Legend, the Club will honor Orlando Ferrante (Longtime Disney Cast Member who served as Vice President of MAPO for WED/WDI), Andreas Deja (Supervising Animator for Jafar and Lilo) and Renie Bardeau (Disneyland's Official Photographer for more than 30 years). Past recipients are also invited to attend the convention luncheon giving the attendees a chance to meet Disney Imagineers, animators, artists, actors and more.
The Luncheon with a Legend is just one of experiences available at the NFFC's 21st summer convention "Celebrating 50 Golden 'ears". Our special celebration of Disneyland's golden anniversary from July 9 - 13th at the Crowne Plaza in Garden Grove, CA offers behind-the-scenes presentations, collectables information, sneak peeks, games and more. Registration packages begin at $50.
Highlights of the upcoming convention include:
