Last night, I was snooping around this here forum and corresponding links in threads and was just tellin my momma how i wish my company had corporate membership, citing that they are probably too cheap to do it if they've heard of it at all.

well i get in today and another employee is jumping up and down. come to find out - my company do have membership! She sent in her request already.

i called the rep handling it and she told me what to do.

i sent her my reservation request and now i'm just anxiously waiting ... hoping there's enough room for my party of 4 (could have been 20 but the others dont love disney THAT MUCH like my mom and my son and i to spend the scrilla (money). we're dragging my dad along against his will :hammer:)

curious: for those who have gone, ever had a problem NOT getting a reservation due to no vacancy?

we're shooting for july 31 or aug 1 lunch or dinner...

apparently my company have been members for 20 some odd years... damn!

i need to... because if it wasnt' for you all's threads, i wouldn't have even known about it. it's funny cause after i secured the ressie, my son and my dad had already heard of the place and my mom and i didn't! (they seen it on travel channel)!!!

the cool thing is my co worker will be there before i will, so, i get to hear her experience first and be prepared with the menu and stuffeses...

the other nice thing is that my son get to spend alone time with me and my parents - something that is rare because of the other grandkids, and my son's dad and i live in seperate homes (never married)... so time is always split between this relatives' house and that one. even more so, this is a rare moment for the 3 of them to really bond in one setting with no distractions or interruptions except the occasional "you going back to get more shrimps?" lol :slurp:

When you arrive, but sure to ask your server about the history of Club 33. That was the most facinating part for me. I've had better food for less money in beautiful settings other places in San Deigo, but the history was REALLY what made it worth while to me! :) Learning more about each room was really great!

Are there souvenirs exclusive to inside the Club? And if so, can someone give me a price range to expect?

My family has just been informed that we are having dinner there with a family friend / business acquaintance over the Christmas Holidays!

We've got to know if there is some little trinket, or accessory (watches, knick knacks, etc.) that we can commemorate the trip with...

Also, do they allow you to take pictures and/or videos?

Thanks!

(p.s. - We're also most likely joining DVC on our Anniversary this year.. in WDW! IN 2 weeks!!)

How lucky! (on both accounts!)

Yes, you can take pictures and videos inside.

And yes, there are things to buy. They've got things like pins, plates, key chains, hats, cups, etc. There was a pic on MiceChat that had all the stuff, lemme go look it up for you. :)

EDIT: Found it! http://micechat.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2828455&postcount=102
It's the last picture. The rest of the thread has some wonderful pictures of the place!

Thanks! Any idea how much a pin is? Or a plate?

Ya know, after paying what I paid for the meal (which, for dinner, was upwards of a min of $50/person at the time) I wasn't able to AFFORD any of souveniers they sold. :(
