Closest Hotels to Animal Kingdom

Hoping I can get some help here...

My daughter is auditioning for Disney at the Animal Kingdom Rehearsal Hall on Sherberth in August.

I am trying to figure out what (cheap to moderate) hotels are closest to there.

The rehearsal hall is not in the park, so we do not need a Disney resort.

Trying to keep this trip as economical as possible as this is just the first of many such trips all over U.S.

Also, could anyone advise as to the cheapest way to get from airport to hotel would be? Thinking the city bus? Anyone have experience with that?

I am hoping the hotel shuttle will take her to the facility.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hi...Best hotel deal will be on 192 just east or west of Sherberth Road...here is link the Master's Inn...it is very close to Sherberth and very inexpensive...

not sure about bus from the airport...Mears does have transport available...she could almost walk to the audition or take a very short cab ride if no shuttle at the hotel...the AK audition building is about 1/2 to 3/4 mile north on Sherberth...no sidewalk so maybe a cab is best if no shuttle...

There is another place that my family will stay, if they cannot get their favorite Disney resort. It's the Orange Lake Resort & Country Club. Sounds expensive but the villas are incredible and they is tons to do right there on the property.... it is 3-4 minutes from the AK area.
