Clermont or Davenport

Hey the wife and I are planning on move the area when I get out of the air force. I have been looking at houses on-line in Clermont, Davenport and Kissimmee. Is anyone town better then the other? Any info from any locals would be appreciated.

it all depends on what you are looking for. All 3 are in different counties, so different schools, different police, different taxes, everything. There's the "town of" and then there's the address of. Meaning I live in Kissimmee BUT the downtown Kissimmee is a good 20 min away. My end is much different from the other end. Clermont and Davenport are the same way.

We just wanted to know whats a nice area and as you put low taxes

parts of all of them are nice/no so nice. If your going for all around good area then Clermont is better for you. I would say that the southern part of Clermont (closest to WDW) is more rural, not as many houses but still close to everything.

I agree - Cleremont is very nice and also a little rural. My mom lives in the next town over (Groveland, but volunteers at the hospital in Cleremont. That whole area has seen a lot of growth in the past 10 years.
