Clarification on Park Hopper Plus Tickets

For the first time since we’ve done WDW, we have not bought length of stay park hopper plus tickets, we only bought 6 days out of our 10 night stay (doing Universal the other days)—I never bother counting how many days/admissions we could go to the water parks because it never mattered before, but am I correct when I read that because we have 6-day tickets, we also can use the water parks 6 admissions within the first 14-days use of our tickets? So if we’ve used our tickets up on the parks but have yet to use the water parks portion within our 14-days we can do that?

You have 12 total admissions for your 14 days. 6 park admission and 6 water park admissions. Can do park and water park on same
Day or do only one of each spreading it out 12 full days.

Great! I’m thinking I can only stretch Universal for 3 days, haha and wanted to make sure I read my tickets correctly!! Boy, seriously wishing I had done 10 day tickets so we could come back to WDW in the evening!
