Clara Clara Oranges (Disney Oranges)

Recently I went to my local Grocery Store in Iowa (HyVee). I noticed Disney Oranges on sale (10 for $2). I thought this a little odd, cause I didn't think Disney sold fruit.

I guess they do. The boxes were labeled with Finding Nemo Characters and had the Disney font. They mentioned PIXAR also and were called "Clara Clara Disney Oranges."

I have tried to google anything about this and I have found nothing. Is this a new thing? An old thing? Is there anything cool or unusual about these (AKA grown with some neat technology)?

Any thoughts? I can attach pictures if you wish it!

I don't believe the fruits (or the veggies that are sold) are grown by Disney, I'm pretty sure they have teamed up with a producer they way the do the cereals and frozen products.

My kids (who are teens, by the way) love the Mickey pizza and ravioli. We've bought the carrot sticks too. I say if it gets the kids to eat healthy go for it! :lol:
