Cirque du Soleil La Nouba price increases for bookings made from tomorrow

I would like to see a new Cirque Du Soleil show. I've seen it before, I don't have much interest in seeing it again. It was very good, but it just doesn't make me want to see it a second time. Does it still do well? Anyone know?

I would love to see this show if it weren't for the price! Kinda off topic: Why doesn't Downtown Disney offer any Broadway style shows. I think a theater in place of Splitsville would've been fine (ok, I haven't seen the finished product yet so I can't judge :))

Broadway shows are really expensive to keep putting on especially on a daily basis which they would have to do

I just posted this in another thread but it goes here too.
Im here in WDW right now, and as we passed the entrance of Magic Kingdom from the monorail, the letters A&G from the Magic Kingdom entrance sign were not lit up! It looks really bad. We were going too fast so I wasn't able to get a picture.

When I saw the headline about price changes elsewhere, I stupidly thought they would be lowering it for an old show like this. Of course, I was mistaken. I just can't see spending that kind of money to see a show like that at WDW - good seats for a small family approach $500 to see a show that isn't terribly unique to WDW (yes, this "theme" is, thought there is nothing "Disney" about it, but Cirque the brand is quite widespread).

It looks ridiculous at my local McDonald's! Grr Disney! Do you ever just wanna fix things there yourself?

Not surprised - but at the same time...surprised. Not surprised that prices are being raised yet again. Very surprised that Cirque is taking on the Disney technique of "raise it to discount it.." I don't think there is a time that Florida residents and annual passholders don't get a 25%-30% discount. I am sure they are offered elsewhere as well. This is an old show, and I think it is having trouble keeping attendance numbers up given the heavy discounting, so very surprised they are making a move like this.
