Cirque de Soleil for 11 year old

I am very excited!! I have confirmed a 2 week vacation at Disney in July!! First week at the Pop Century and second week at Wilderness Lodge. Very excited about both.

Can anyone tell me if they have any experience with 11-year-olds and the Cirque? Do they enjoy the show??

Any feedback will help me decide whether I am schelling out $88 bucks!!

I would think an 11 year old would love it. Bear in mind that it is really nothing like a circus at all. It's entirely acrobats, and incredible ones at that. Everyone walks out of there marveling at what they have just seen-- it isn't like anything you have experienced before.

My three year old nephew has seen Cirque du Soleil on tv a few times... since the first time he saw it (Dralion), he loved it and asks me for it to watch over and over again. It keeps him entertained even more than Barney! lol
I am sure an 11 year old will love it too. :)

We have not been fortunate enough to see it in person, but my kids love to watch it on tv (they are 15 & 9 ). I don't think you will have a problem.

My wife and I saw La Nuba this past Thanksgiving and there where many young children in the audiance (all of whom looked messmerized during the performance. La Nuba has some kid oriented acts such as the guys on the trick bikes. I think your 11 year old will love it.

If time allows, we are hoping to see it this November. We have a 6 year old and an 7 year old who will turn 8 during our visit. Is anyone aware of any kind of discount tickets to Cirque?

I went this summer, and there were 4 kids (as sibblings!) sitting in the front row right in front of us. they were between the ages of 6 and 12, and they LOVED it. IT really is a great show to.

as far as the discounts, I Remember seeing that certain performances were 50% for kids under 11 or 12. check on that, it might have only been a thing for the summer.

as far as for adults, there is rarely if ever discounts for the cirque.
