HELP!!!!!! I have only 1 day left to do this. I have been trying for the past 5 mornings calling WDW-Dine to secure a PS for character breakfast at the castle. I have called the Disney Club number as well. I am calling exactly at 7:00 eastern time and cannot get in. The longest I've been on hold is 12 minutes and the shortest was this morning at 4 minutes. Can anybody offer any advice on how to get this done? Thank you for all suggestions. I am running out of vacation.

Well I had to go and get help from teh Angel Network..I know alot of people are against this .....but when desperate times call for desperate measures right??? :) also....you should call about 14 days before hand and see if they have opened any tables up...or any cancelations!

Another thing I heard is to call 48 hours before you want your reservations. Supposedly this is when the conceirge at WDW releases the unused tables they have set aside for conceirge to use.

Last ditch effort is to just go there on the day of and see if you can get in. Apparently very few people do this since it is impossible to get a reservation. If someone doesn't show up they might be able to seat you.

You can also try to make reservations the first day ur down there at your disney resort.......

unless your there right now...chances are slim that you'll get a table..... Theres a CB at the crystal palace too if your desperit...sp??.......

But like I said if you are leaving soon and stil have not gotten through.....once your at your disney resort...they can make dinning reservations for you......

Best of luck :)

Ok..I'm going to get REALLY hammered by this, but I don't really care. I have read so much on Cinderellas Castle and how WONDERFUL it was. I got SO caught up in it myself and just HAD to have it for my daughter. I mean, Gee, if everyone else wanted it it HAD to be good.....(anyone else remember beanie babie craze of Princess Diana Bear:( or beanies period) Anyway, DH and I got up early in the morning and started calling doing the PS thing. And Surprise Surprise we got In!!!!! I was SO excited. Then I stressed over something going wrong. DD didn't say anything about Having to go either it was all "ME" I'm the one who got so caught up in the whole Cinderellas Breakfast thing. So, we get there, go have our breakfast, does she even Mention it when she talks about going to wdw to her grandma or friends...NO, not at ALL. She was more thrilled with San Angel Inn watching the Volcano and eating in the Rainforest. She talks about that all the time. But not once has she even said anything about the Castle. She liked eating in it, but dang, I could have booked a lunch or dinner in the castle.

For those of you who cannot get in my advice is... don't sweat it. WE as adults are the ones for this Stupid Craze about the Castle and because of that people are taking advantage and making money from it. I was honestly dissapointed in the Castle Breakfast. It really wasn't that Big of a Deal. But I just HAD to have it because everyone else was doing it for their child. Just don't even mention it to your children...the ones of you who already have and who have made a "Big" deal out of it to your kids will have a tougher time with it. So my best advice to you is, if this is your first trip or you have never mentioned the castle to your child then don't worry if you can't get it for breakfast. If you just want to eat in the castle then book lunch or dinner, those are MUCH easier to get. The princesses aren't there but unless your kids HAVE to see the princesses it won't matter.

But my opinion of the Breakfast....Thumbs Down. NOT all it's cracked up to be. It's fine if you get it in, but it won't ruin your trip if you don't, unless you allow it to ruin your trip. WDW is so much more than a character breakfast in the castle. IMHO

Well said, Goofette !!! While there are some children that really want to do CRT, it's mainly the parents that feel it's something they MUST do. Most of the kids could careless. I've helped several members on this board get a PS for CRT when they have posted in total desparation. But after their trip, I hear many comments such as your's: "what's the big deal about CRT?".

Thanks to all for the advice. We eat dinner at the Castle at least once every year (the last 10 years in a row). We've never been to the breakfast there and since we try a different character breakfast each year, we thought it would be a good time to try CRT. None of our kids are young enough to care where we eat (all teenagers). They're just happy we eat. The CRT was for my 39 year old brother who thought it would be great. I finally got close for the last day of our trip but we have 10 people and they couldn't get us enough tables for that many people. We will be having breakfast this year at Hollywood & Vine at MGM. This is one of my favorites cause not a lot of people go to it, it's reasonably priced and it's a buffet which is the best bet for a 15 and 13 year old boy.

The ones I saw who were really excited about eating there and seeing the princesses was the little ones. DD is 8 and she was sort of like...this is neat, but that's about it. I also saw a few younger couples there and they looked thrilled. But all in all looking around the room and seeing how other kids were reacting (I thought something was wrong with my daughter because she wasn't all excited) I saw most of them just sort of looking around not really "thrilled" :lookaroun .

I guess I should say also that each one of you know your own children, you know what they are really passionate about. I mean about two years ago DD was really into the "Princesses" everything she wanted to wear she wanted them on it. That is when I think she would have really enjoyed it. And Nansafan, I think that is really neat that your 39 year old brother would like it. I don't want anyone to feel bad about wanting to eat there, but I just wanted to let some parents know that it isn't for everyone and not to be surprised if you get in and your kids don't appreciate it like you think they should.

GoodLuck to anyone who really really wants to book this. But honestly, don't feel like you've failed your children if you don't get in.
