Cinderella's Royal Table Question

We have been to Disney many times, but this is our first time using the dining plan. We booked a lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table online, and needed to give our credit card number to hold the reservation. They charged our credit card right away for the full amount. Since we have the dining plan, will they credit back our credit card when we check in? I called Disney dining today, and the lady I spoke with didn't seem to know and when she checked it out said they could not guarantee it. Does anyone know how this is handled? Since we already paid with our credit card, will we not be able to use the dining plan?

I had the same thing happen when I made my ADR's a few weeks ago. They charged me for both a breakfast and a dinner. I called the dining reservation line and explained the situation. The CM there was super helpful. The biggest issue is that she had to un-reserve (?) both meals and re-reserve them. Since it was the first day, there was still plenty of availablility, so it wasn't a big deal. We actually just got the credit card statement with both the charges and the credits on them.
