My family and I (probably 10-12 of us) are visiting int 2nd week of December in a house offsite. Someone in our party expressed interest in taking their 4 year old to Cinderella's Royal Table. I told them it won't be impossible to get a reservation but very hard since we are staying offsite.
Does anyone have any tips on how to get a reservation? I will probably tell them it is best to just go with the three of them and not have 6+ of us try and go but any tips or tricks would be appreciated. I would love to take our 3 year old too but I know it would be tough

Stalking can work.

Try the Touring Plans reservation finder. You only need a basic account. It’ll start searching 60 days ahead and will alert you (and others of course) if it finds one. A,ways try MDE if you get an alert, even if the link is unsuccessful.

Since you seem to be OK with a smaller group going, maybe have two of you try, each for a table of say 6.

Good luck!

Also though, look at other character dining options in case you don’t get that one. Maybe Pooh and friends at Crystal Palace, for example. And of course you can still meet some princesses at the meet and greets. As nice ast CRT would be, the kids will be happy just to meet them elsewhere.

I would try at 6:00am EST (or just before) 60 days out to see what you can get. CRT does 3 meals a day and there's always a chance you can get at least one time during one of them.

I would also second looking to see if anyone cancels, particularly in the week before you wish to dine. Lots of people will cancel to avoid the penalty fee. 2 out of the last 3 times I dined here were because I got a table that way.

Also play around with the # of guests in the party. Disney's website/app may say no tables available for 3 people, but give you options for 4. While you would be charged for 4 in advance, they can modify this either before your dining time, or at the restaurant to give the refund.

Thank you everyone for your advice!!

Do all people of your party need to be linked to your MDE account? That in itself might be a pain in the

Even as on site guests, we’ve always relied on Touring Plans reservation finder because of plan changes. They’ve always come through for us.

One tip: when you get the email alert or the text message, don’t go through the link. Go directly to the Disney website like you normally would and book. And don’t dilly dally. You aren’t the only one getting the alert.

The reservation finder randomly checks, so I’ve also had luck randomly checking on my own on the two weeks or so leading up to our trip.

If you can’t get into CRT, I HIGHLY recommend Tratoria Al Forno’s character meal if the girls love Ariel and Rapunzel, and they 1900 Park Faire or whatever it’s called one was maybe our favorite of all time (with Cinderella and the whole family). Those ones were way more entertaining and the characters interacted more, but we went to both pre Covid so I don’t know how they are now.

Have a great trip!!

I posted a similar thread about off site guests and booking ADR for any of the most popular restaurants. I think the advice here is helpful as well. I talked to someone over the weekend who recommended setting up the alerts with one of those reservation finder sites like touringplans and there are a few otheres I think, even the ones that charge a small monthly fee about slightly before 60 days out on your trip/visit day and he said he got several good places with it. He was off site.

No characters at Trattoria al Forno any more, but the regular breakfast is great.

A late breakfast a Cinderellas castle might be slightly easier, if you don't want to book right at opening. And cheaper.
1900 Park Fare dinner still isn’t back yet, but it's our favorite for Cinderella and Step-Sisters.
If you plan on an Epcot visit keep and eye out for Akerhaus reopening well, tons of princesses.
