That definitely looks like World of Disney at Downtown Disney. I never get a good look at anything in there because it's always so crowded. I'm nearly positive that's where it's from due to the background decor in the picture. No idea who built it though. :shrug:
 
It's in "The World Of Disney" at DownTown Disney. If you walk in by the children stuff just continue straight down the middle it will be right there in the center area and a big TV Screen up by the ceiling as well playing kids stuff.

Didn't it used to be in one of the shops on Main Street? Or am I thinking of Disneyland Paris?
One of the shops on Main Street had a castle as well to promote the Castle toy they sell but I think they changed the display.

The one in the picture in this thread however, is definitely in Downtown Disney.

thanks all...it truly is a gorgeous piece. The one on Main street was much smaller, less detail and in a glass sphere...yet still beautiful
