Cinderella castle closed until....?

Hi guys just seen that there's a refurb on the Cinderella castle for disney 60 (which of course is amazing) but I'm scared and a bit bummed as it will be my first ever wdw trip at the very start of May this year and just wondering if anybody knows when it will Unscaffolded and on view. I'll be devastated if I won't be able to see it in full glory!

Sleeping Beauty Castle in CA is the one that is covered not WDW in FL

Are you sure you aren't thinking of the castle in Disneyland? That one is currently behind tarps getting some additions for the 60th. Now they are going to be doing some work at the front of Cinderella's castle as part of the hub project, but nothing to castle itself.

yeah, what she said, Anaheims' castle under wraps for 60th of DISNEYLAND. Cindys' castle is in Orlando

I just got told by my boyfriend, had a massive princess strop before I properly looked into it all. How embarrassing! Thank you for your quick responses you've cheered up a very sad princess haha!

The above statements are correct about Anaheim's Sleeping Beauty Castle being under wraps; but, I would anticipate some of Cinderella Castle to go behind the tarps in the very near future. Work on the Castle stage show is about to begin which includes not only the lighting rigs on the buildings next to the Castle (getting converted over to themed castle turrets); but, will also include work on the stage itself. I was told to expect at least a partial scrim.

Add to this... the crane is still onsite and up during the day and the wasteland that is the Hub and you've got a mess.

I believe the approx. dates for Dream Along with Mickey closing (and the stage getting a nosejob) are 4/13-5/20. May have moved around a day or two.

I believe that is for the hub refurb.... and the castle SHOULD be untouched. It was refurbed last year, after all.

The stage in front of the Castle is getting touched while the show is dark. So, I was told back in November to expect a scrim.
