Hey Everyone! (3 days to go!!!! Will be landing at 9:20am Saturday morning! DME here we come!)

My cousins family and I are going to WDW together, and we both like to enjoy cigars when together. (We do not smoke them in the parks or around other people :) )

I was wondering if anyone knew where they might be purchased. ie Hotels (Port Orleans), Parks, etc.

Thanks for any help!!!

Most of the resort shops sell them. I know POR did last time we were there in Jun. There is a cigar store in Downtown Disney called Sosa's. It is up near Magnetron. They will have the better cigars.

I usually bring my own so I'm not familiar with a place to purchase 'em on Disney property. However, there is a decent cigar store at City Walk(ya know, by Universal/IOA-the evil empire that has the nerve to give Disney some competition:lol: ). Although pricey, they have a great selection and after all it is vacation. Also, Emeril's Orlando stocks and sells Opus X. Hopefully someone else can answer your question about availability on Disney property.:lookaroun

THAT'S RIGHT!! I've actually been there too. The good thing about senility is that you don't know you have it.

Sosa's has by far the best selection on property (DTD) - they are a little pricey but they resorts have even higher prices. I always get the "hand-rolled by the old man" robustos at Sosa's. A good smoke for 5 bucks.

Sosa's is a great cigar shop without question, but I agree with the rest of you, it is pricey. But then again, THIS IS DISNEY WORLD. I love it as much as everyone, but EVERYTHING is expensive there. I am a huge fan of the Heaven Vanilla cigars they sell, I make sure to get people to buy them for me when my friends go down to FL.

I went to Sosa's with a friend back in February and we both found the guy really rude. He wasn't helpful, kept asking if we're going to buy anything when we were looking at the accessories and wouldn't help us in their humidor which was much smaller than our local shop. And talk about over-priced. I would rather find a small local shop off property than buy from Sosa.

If you don't mind driving a bit. Check out Corona Cigar Company. They have one of the worlds largest humidors and decent prices too. Heres their website... http://www.coronacigar.com/ We spent 3 or 4 nights up there smoking.

Hate to hear that - they have always been really nice to me! They are pricey but I have seen much worse out there.

Sosa's in DTD has all of the hard-to-get Fuentes so for a treat, thats the place to go. I usually get an OpusX and smoke and watch people in DTD while my wife and kids spend all my money in the stores.

Man, The OpusX is an amazing cigar. I've smoked 3 of them and each one has been excellent. I have one in my humidor that i've had for about a year and 4 months. Waiting for that special occasion to light it up. Probably will smoke it on my first day living in Florida.

Well... if you make it into "Party for the Senses" at World Showplace they offer a nice selection of Cigars as well as an outdoor smoking area all dressed up for the event (it was a blast!).

I know this is a bit of thread drift(no more so than the NFC East wars), but while I have cigar smokers rounded up, do you guys (or ladies) have any favorite out-of-the-way places to light up. (PLEASE,PLEASE don't start a dispute about people smoking in the theme parks again). OUT-OF-THE-WAY
places do not include theme parks. I have found areas outside at resorts and DTD where you can enjoy a stogie and not bother anyone. Favorite spots?? BTW...GO GIANTS.
