Christmas Party Question

I leave on Monday morning for Disney and I have a question regarding the Christmas party. I, on a whim, bought a ticket to the Tuesday night party because I've always wanted to go to a MK party. Since I didn't plan this out, I didn't plan to have one less day on my tickets or what have you, and i also have an early dinner reservation with family at Be Our Guest.

If I am in the park before they accept guests for the party (with my actual ticket) is there a check point i can go to with my paper party ticket or do I have to leave the park and re-enter?

You won't have to exit and enter, but bear in mind that you can get in to the park at 4 with just your party ticket. How early is your BOG reservation?

You will find many places in the park after 4pm to show your ticket and get the wristband. I know for sure they do it at the Rose Garden in front of the castle. You do not have to exit the park. Have a magical time! I will be there on Dec 8th.

If you're in the park before 4 and haven't made it to a location to get your wristband, you can be sure cast members will be conducting a sweep anyway around 7pm. They'll ask if you have a wristband, and when you say, "No" but have bought a ticket, they'll direct you to the nearest location to obtain your wristband.

If you arrive at 4:00 or after, you'll get your wristband when you enter. If not, you will be able to pick one up without exiting the park. Don't worry. If you don't have a wristband, they will certainly stop you and tell you where to get one. :)

If you decide to not use a day of your tickets for party day, make sure you don't enter until 4 or the cm's tell you to enter now. They turn the styles over to the party tickets between 3:30 and 4, but if you go in say at 3:45 and they haven't turned the styles then it will use your regular ticket. This happened to my friend who was with me a couple weeks ago. I had an ap, so it didn't matter, but since her party ticket and regular tickets were linked to her band--even though she used the hard plastic ticket to get in-- it took one of her days. You would not believe what we had to go through to get her time back. We were at EPCOT when we realized what had happened, so they were not going to give the time back even with us showing the hard ticket and everything else.
We assumed if the hard ticket turned the style green than it was using that ticket for entry. That isn't so. They showed her going in for the party at 3:15, which wasn't true so they said basically it's too bad. That she shouldn't have entered early and they couldn't do anything about it. I asked for a manager, who was just as rude. I told her that the style should not have turned green for the hard ticket if it wasn't using the hard ticket for entry. We went rounds with both the cm's. We tried to stay calm, but my friend ended up in tears. The manager/leader finally said she would give her a ticket starting at 3. I told her that didn't make sense that if anything she should get a ticket ending at three since her party ticket covered that time anyway. I asked her why when she only used 45 minutes according to them, then why was she being penalized for a whole day? She finally gave her day back, but she was so rude in doing so I couldn't believe it. It ruined the rest of that day. Then, then next morning, we went to AK, same thing happened. The new ticket wouldn't work. We went to Guest Relations, but this time it was so much different. The cm saw what had happened right away. She was kind and helpful. She knew right away it was a problem with how the tickets were linked. She straightened it out right away and even gave us a couple of fastpasses for all the time we had wasted.
I emailed Disney and told them about both events. A lady called me last week and wanted to know exactly what happened. I explained, and she was also very nice and said this would be part of their next team meeting to show what should and shouldn't be done.
