Christmas Party or California Grill

Which would you choose? Verry merry Christmas party or fireworks from California Grill? With the party we'd have a full day in MK, whereas if we eat at CG we'd have to leave around 6:30. Will be our only date at MK.

Have done both. Equally expensive, so I would pick California grill, since you will have been in MK all day, you will have experienced the rides, etc. Sitting somewhere lovely, having a meal and watching the fireworks would just top off the day.

I really love California Grill. And watching the holiday fireworks from that location would be fantastic!

Are you likely to return during the holiday time? While MVMCP is most definitely inferior to MNSSHP, it is still fun. You can do California Grill year round on another trip.

Why leaving at 6:30 if you do Cali Grill? Are you trying to plan in time to return to your hotel to change before dinner? They won't kick you out until 7 on a party night, and the fireworks should be at 9:30, so you would most likely want to time your dinner reservation for somewhere around that.

We've done both...with kids! I'm not a huge fan of the party and I prefer the party fireworks from outside the park as you get a better view of the added perimeter effects. So, my vote is California Grill during MVMCP so you can see Holiday Wishes from up there. You might even consider changing your park touring schedule...i.e. maybe pick MK for a day where you can get later hours in the park.
