Christmas parade

Hello!

Never been to WDW but we are going in December for 5 days and are planning to go to Magic Kingdom for a day and was looking for advice/help.
Daughter and I want to see Jack and Sally in the Christmas parade.
Is there a separate ticket to buy in addition to the GA ticket? We plan on getting to the park early and staying until close but I'm not sure how that works on the days of the parade. Thank you in advance !

Jack and Sally are not in the Christmas parade but can be found at a meet and greet during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP). This is a separate ticket event held on certain nights at the Magic Kingdom. If you visit MK on a day which hosts MVMCP and do not have a party ticket, you will need to leave the MK at 6 pm.
