I'd suggest being there at 7:30am. My crowd-control shift for the parade starts at this time, and it usually begins 1/2 hour prior to guests coming in, if not an hour before.

Umm....Did you register with the film production company and receive the parking/admission pass via email?

Christmas Parade Dec 3rd

Hi we got a confirmation a couple weeks ago that we would be in the Dec 3rd Session 1 of the parade taping with our email coming on Nov28th with the parking pass etc. This will be our first year, how long does it usually take, if we are the first session, do you think we will still be able to attend Disney for the day when it's over?

I'm a passholder and will be at WDW during the parade filming. What do I need to do to register? Is it too late? All I've heard is that passholders can attend. This is the first I've heard about needing to register.:veryconfu

Passholders can just show up at the gate. You had to register only if you are a member of the public and wanted to participate.

Ok, I registered on the site when 2 of the times were still showing available, but that was quite a while ago and I never received any emails back from it at all. So am I to assume that I was not accepted? And my second question would be, since I am a passholder, I should just be able to go to the gate that day and get in for the taping? Is there a specific time that that will be allowed earlier than park hours, or just during normal park hours for the day? Thank you for any information anyone can provide...:xmas:

Well I posted earlier, we got an email from the production company a couple weeks ago confirming us for the 12/3 Session 1 taping, they said the parking voucher etc would arrive via email today 11/28, no email yet and it is 10pm, has anyone else gotten theirs? My kids are expecting to go to Disney on Saturday since they said congratulations you have been selected? Just worried since we did not get the promised email today?

I received the confirmation about a week ago and was expecting my voucher today. It never arrived so I sent an email to them( Lightship Productions ) and this is the response I got back.

"you are waiting on your voucher which hasn't been approved yet.

We will be sending them out As soon as we get them

Thanks!"


And then I read the confirmation letter again and it states that vouchers will be sent out on or after November 28th.

So I guess we'll just have to wait some more. I'll certainly feel a lot better once I receive it though seeing how a bunch of my friends took off of work to attend.

A little unfortunate for me, is that we depart on Nov 30th, so if I dont get that email for my voucher by then.....guess I'll miss it, but since I am a passholder...I'll just go in anyway.
Whose-ever fault it is maybe they should plan this stuff better or alittle earlier. To not send out vouchers until the week of is alittle crazy to me. This is no way to run a production company.

We all just want to know so we can plan our day/vacation around this.

I have a final exam on Friday at 8am at UCF, so I probably won't be to MK till 9:30am or so... is it safe to say I'll miss the first session of taping? I'm a passholder and plan on being there all weekend... both Friday and Saturday... any word on when the musical guests perform?

Is the MK easily accessible during the am taping of the Parade. We have early res. for Cinderellas breakfast ?

You should be able to get to you PS....as long as you stay off of Main Street and the hub, MK will be fine.

Seriously...I've been at MK during the taping in prior years...it's not all that interesting.

I just got some news that Wayne Brady and Kimberly Locke would be filming a duet there this weekend. No word on what day/time, but this seems to be new news compared to the list of celebs posted here last week. It came directly from Kim Locke's website so ??

According to some other sites, Friday taping will be the castle stage portions while saturday will be Mainstreet. He's hoping, I'd kinda like to do the stage parts
