Christmas Parade Taping Help Needed!

Hey all!

I need help. We are heading down to WDW the first week of December. We had planned on going to MK on Dec. 3rd. This is also the final day of the christmas parade taping.

What I need to know is this: How crowded is it when they tape for the parade? Is it a madhouse?

We have the option of switching and going to MK on the following Saturday. Should we avoid MK on December 3rd?

Would love to hear from some who have been for the taping. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! :xmas:

I've been in the MK for taping, and it seemed to me that the crowds stayed in the area in front of the castle, and down Main Street USA. These are the areas that the taping is confined to, and the areas that the celebrities stay in. We were in the park last December before the taping started, and didn't notice it had begun until we went to leave. Even then, we were able to navigate out of the park without a problem.

They'll randomly tape celebrities going on rides and such, but you're not likely to run into them at all.

I wouldn't worry about the 3rd at all. Go where you please.
