Christmas Holiday Decorations - when is it time??

So I was just thinking, I usually go down to visit Mickey around the beginning of December... But think it would be cool to see how the resorts and parks transform to Christmas over night... It would be really cool to wake up the next morning and see a monster tree in the middle of Jambo House... Knowing the Disney Elves were hard at work. How does one find a schedule on when they will decorate each resort or park?

They'll be making the transformation the first week in November, I believe. They have the last Halloween party and usually spend the next week changing it over in time for the first Christmas Party.

There is another thread on here somewhere, where this was discussed recently. Regardless, a trip in early December will be too late, unfortunately.

We've never been there for the transformation to Christmas, but we've been there to see Halloween go up, and also to see Christmas come down.

We were there last year from Nov 1 - 9 and saw the change over from Halloween to Chrisymas. It was great taking pictures of MK at the beginning and ends of our stay!

The Crane should be in place soon at MK if not already and I know that 3 weeks ago they were already putting up the Osborne lights at DHS..

Thanks! Hope to see a Disneyland Christmas blurb on the blogs... We are planning to go next December!
