We are planning a trip for the first week in January (3-6th). Does anyone know if the Christmas decorations will still be up and do they still have the Christmas music playing at that time?

The music plays until the decor comes down.
The final official days for Christmas at MK and Studios is Jan 3, so you will be definitely OK that day. Anytime after they will start to be removed, so all depends how quick they are at doing that. More than likely things will still be up for at least a week or so after that. However, none of the holiday shows will run after the 3rd.

we were at WDW last year until January 5th and just about everything that we wanted to see was up...including all of the resort decorations. Though if they are especially quick this year, I suppose they could be gone.
