CHRISTMAS DAY, EVERY DAY !

The Christmas Parade on Main Street, U.S.A.
All through the Christmas season, guests will be entertained by the Christmas Parade, a colourful and musical parade where the classical theme of Tchaikovsky’s “Nutcracker Suite” brings favourite Disney fairytales to life. Every afternoon, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will open the celebration, accompanied by a Dancing Orchestra of flute-men and twirling violin-women. Perched on top of a giant drum, the Nutcracker will direct a troupe of wooden soldiers to march in time to the music, while a host of Christmas characters sing and dance their way down Main Street, U.S.A. Last, but not least, Father Christmas on a sleigh drawn by reindeer from Lapland will bring a fitting end to the grand parade, with a little help from the "Crown Maidens" and "real-life" snowmen!

The Tree Lighting Ceremony
Town Square's 25 metre tall Christmas Tree, decorated with barley sugar sticks, marzipan figures, over a kilometre of garlands and 7000 fairy lights, will come to life every evening during the Tree Lighting Ceremony. A Christmas Carol "sing-a-long" will herald the beginning of the ceremony, before porcelain dolls and Santa's sleigh, laden with presents, arrive on Main Street, U.S.A. Mickey, Minnie and Father Christmas will be joined on the sleigh by the prince or princess of the day - one of our younger guests chosen to be one of Santa's "helpers". As the sleigh comes to a stop in front of the tree, the lights will go down on Main Street, U.S.A… Then, with a handful of golden pixie dust, the child will magically illuminate the giant Christmas tree, sending a cascade of light from arch to arch down Main Street, U.S.A. towards the shimmering Sleeping Beauty Castle.

A Crystal Christmas in the Main Street, U.S.A. boutiques
Throughout the holiday season, the boutiques at Disneyland® Resort Paris will feature all-new seasonal window displays that take their inspiration from England's Victorian era. The "Christmas Past" displays feature representations of houses as they existed at the time, but with one exception: Disney Characters are the occupants! The charming miniature houses each have snow on their roofs that shimmer in the glow of late 19th century gas lamps, while Christmas presents overflow from the chimneys…

The "it’s a small world" celebration
Different nations have different holidays but everywhere in this small world, people have a special way of celebrating, sharing gifts and happy memories. Over the Christmas season, Disneyland Resort Paris will pay tribute to this spirit at one of the Disneyland Park's most beloved attractions. Nearly 150 dolls will be dressed in traditional costume, with "it's a small world" offering guests an enchanting cruise around the world of celebration. Ports of call include Scandinavia's Saint Lucia celebration, Asia's 'Yin and the Yang' New Year and Africa's Festival of the Moon.
