Christmas Day Dinner?

Which park is the best choice for Christmas Day? Which restaraunt do you suggest for Christmas Day Meal for family of 4 (2 daughters 8 & 12)?
I realize there may not be an opportunity to park hop as the parks may close due to full capacity.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort, you do not have to worry about park hopping--you're admitted even after "capacity" is reached.

Liberty Tree Tavern at MK and 50s Prime Time Cafe both serve very traditional home cooked Christmas at your Grandma's meals, and are themed wonderfully.

Ohana at the Polynesian is also an unbelievably good, filling meal. And the majority of World Showcase restaurants have very high marks from patrons, so it may be fun to try new things.

We leave for Disney the day after Christmas. And we are looking for a good place for New Years Eve dinner in Epcot--maybe Les Chefs de France b/c I speak french, we always wanted to try, and we want to celebrate new years at a "country" that celebrates their real new years during our dinner time hours....did that make sense?? haha

We were at WDW for Christmas 3 or 4 years ago, and it was AWESOME! We went to MK for the morning, staked out our property to view the parade (it was always a dream of mine to see the Christmas parade on Christmas Day), then left the park. I think we went to EPCOT or MGM for the rest of the day- maybe even both parks! Crowds were not bad at all except at the MK.

For dinner, we went to Wilderness Lodge and ate at Artist Point. It was scrumptious! The only drawback that night- Artist Point wasn't serving their usual menu. They had a scaled down menu with a set price. Luckily, the salmon was still on the menu. It was a very nice way to spend Christmas day.

Hope you have a very nice Christmas day at the most magical place to spend Christmas! Don't forget to see the Osborne Family Lights!!! :xmas: :xmas: :xmas:

We have PS for LTT on our day of arrival before we head to MVMCP. Haven't done either of these before. I'm thinking Candlelight Processional/Dinner X-mas Eve; lower price resaurant choice. X-mas Day maybe 50's Prime Time. We had T-giving dinner there once. It was fun. DH hadn't eaten his green beans. DD's thought it funny. I'm just concerned about getting back into MK later that day should we want to. We don't usually stay at one park for a whole day. I thought when park was at capacity, it didn't matter where you were staying or what type of ticket you had, capacity was capacity. We were there X-mas/NYE 1999-2000!

Whatever you do, make your reservations as soon as you can (is it 90 days before now?)
We made ours last minute and there was not much available. We ended up eating in Morrocco with the Candlelight Prossesional (sp?) dinner package which was wonderful. We had a very non-traditional meal (that was soooo good) and priority seating for the CP. (and it snows at the end, so being a Jersey Girl in FL on Xmas w/out snow, the CP snow was perfect!)
have a great trip
