Christmas Arrives at Disneyland Paris Resort

PARIS (DLP Guidebook) -– Saturday 9 November was the start of the Christmas season in Disneyland Resort Paris. Both parks have there decorations up and are awaiting the guests for the festivities. You will have time until the 5th January to visit Disneyland Resort Paris in its full Christmas look. From the moment you enter the park you will find Christmas decorations everywhere. The Main Street station got some help from the snowman, greeting the guests on their way into the Kingdom. The hub transformed to a big drum filled with toys and presents, Teddy bears and wooden solders. Fantasyland has been transformed to the beautiful village of Belle. Behind every door guests will find some surprises like shops and a theater. The Old Mill is loaded with gifts. The village has is own Christmas tree and even the Labyrinth of Alice in Wonderland got a new façade around its castle. The colorful lights make it an even more magical place in the evenings. Not only the Kingdom but also the Studios have been transformed. You don't even have to enter it to see the first lights appear and to hear new music loop. It is filled with Christmas songs with a jazzy feeling. Sorcerer Mickey has been given a Christmas costume. And Studio One has lights all the way up towards the roof, making it a Studio full of holiday fun. Even Mickey's trailer got a background fitting into the time of year. Mountains covered by snow, painted on a big board, has been placed behind it. But that is not all. All the way up to the back of the Walt Disney studios guests will find all kinds of Christmas decorations. During the Christmas holidays Father Christmas cannot be missed in Disneyland Resort Paris. But because he is so busy he has asked for some help. Who could replace Father Christmas and greet the children in his place, keeping the Christmas spirit alive? None other than Goofy! During the Christmas season Goofy, dressed as Father Christmas, will be greeting all children in the park. Guests can greet him at the Castle Stage every day from 11.00 to 14.30 and 16.30 to 18.00. Santa Goofy is not the only character you can meet during the Christmas festivities. Belle and Gaston from Beauty and the Beast are also awaiting guests. At "Le village de Noel de Belle" a little show takes place with dancers and singers. Belle will be the first to accompany them before Gaston appears on the set. The show, which took its inspiration from the Beauty and the Beast story, ends with a chance to meet Belle and Gaston. Show times are at 11:00 11:55 12:50 13:45 15:40 16:40 17:15.
