Whatever happened to Chip & Dale at Fulton's General Store at Riverside?

I remember years ago they had removed one of them and now they're both gone. If they were damaged, I assume they just give up reparing things now?

I'm so glad you asked because I was at Riverside last weekend and I knew something was missing, but I couldn't figure out what! If someone goes to Fulton's, I hope they will ask and find out.
