Chip and Dale Parking Lot at MK

Okay, I did a search, and I didn't find anything on this.

The last several times I've been to MK, I've noticed (after I parked clear back in the Donald Lot!) that the Chip and Dale Lot is always about 1/2 Empty (or 1/2 Full!). Why is this? Is this the "Preferred" or "Diamond" Parking?

Since I live 30 miles from WDW, we rarely stay at the resorts, and so we are always paying attention to where we park.

It's a CM lot. That's why they don't announce it for the Minnie tram stop. Dopey is the Diamond Lot and Sleepy the Disabled parking.

Yep, it's a cast lot, usually used by CMs of the Polynesian. There's also a small building in it which is a costuming location for the Polynesian as well as bus drivers, security and other "global" CMs.

It is also used by pretty much all Cast Members who are based at the Transporation & Ticket Center.

There's a similar situation at Animal Kingdom and the Studios. In both cases, the first section on the right-hand side of the tram lane as you're walking away from the park entrance is CM parking.
