Child's Ap check in?

I have a question about AP rates. My DD and I are going to WDW in October. She has an AP can I useher AP for check in if there is a rate code for October?

Since you must be 18 years of age to book a room, if your daughter with the AP is not 18 years of age, she will not be able to book the room. Are you staying longer than a week at WDW? If so, it will be more cost effective for you to get an AP as well.

I think that as long as the person with the AP is going to be in the room, it will work.

But it must be the AP holder that reserves the room. If the daughter is not 18 yers of age, she can not book a room, and thus cannot use the AP room rate.
