Child Carseat on Plane question

Hello,

I am not sure if anybody can help me with these answers. I checked Continental Airlines website and could not find the information.

We will be traveling with our 20 month old in a few weeks to WDW and wanted to find out if the car seat can go in any of the seats or only say a window, center or aisle seat? We have all 3 booked but just wanted to know ahead so we can be prepared.

Also, the seat we have has the latch system which was implemented a few years ago. Can the latch system be used on the plane or do you need to feed the seat belt through the seat? We can do either but wanted to be sure what to do when we go and also hoping the latch system can be used as it is so much easier to do that the seat belt method.

Thanks for any answers.

Most airlines make you put the car seat by the window. I can't tell you for sure if Continental does since I have not flown that airline with a car seat, but seeing how most other airlines make you put it by the window, then I would plan for that.

I do not think the latch system would work on the airplane. I've never used the latch system, but doesn't the seat of the car have to be latch compatible? I'm pretty certain that airlines do not have latch compatible seats.

My last 2 trips, we had our DS in the Aisle seat with his car seat. My DW was next to him and I was across the aisle. It worked great.

The flight attendant's never said a thing.

I also agree with the others about the latch system not working on a plane. It would have to be strapped in using the regular seat belt.
